ASB Avionics, LLC is pleased to announce the award of a multi-million dollar contract to upgrade a L-382G (Commercial version of the C-130H-30). The upgrade, to be accomplished July - September 2006, will be a complete cockpit avionics update. The major systems to be installed are as follows: Honeywell's Primus Epic CDS/R 5 Display integrated avionics system (which includes engine instruments), Digital AFCS, Collin's HGS-4000 Head-Up guidance system, Triple IRS Laseref V, Mark VII EGPWS, SATCOM, Dual ESIS, Dual HFS-700 including ASB's Dorsal Fin HF Shunt Antenna, TCAS, TACAN and Weather Radar. The upgrade will add a minimum of 20 years of service life to the Avionics Systems.
